What do you all have planned for Valentine's Day? To be honest, we don't really celebrate. I mean, we do but we don't. V-Day isn't really a big thing for us. We usually just make a nice supper (& eat with our kids!) and exchange small gifts. Nothing big. I won't complain about getting a gift though ;) Haha.

OOTD: Seeing Stripes!

Today I wore a "dress" that I haven't worn in a lonnnnng time. I air quote dress because it's pretty darn short. I originally had it on with purple tights but felt a little scandalous (haha) so I wore leggings with it instead :) The best part? It has POCKETS!!! I love dresses with pockets :)

OOTD: The "boyfriend" shirt.

Hello beautiful ladies & gents!
Today's outfit is what I like to call the "boyfriend shirt" ... or HUSBAND shirt in my case (haha). It's comfy. Very very comfy. Clearly this shirt would not fit my husband, but it looks like a dress shirt a man would wear! Cinching it in at the waist with a thick belt gives the shirt a nice fit & shows off ma'curves.

Bright, Fun, Purple Smokey Eye!

Aloha!

I'm baaaaaaaack, with another tutorial :) Tonight I was in the mood for something fun & colourful so I did a neon-like purple smokey eye. I would definitely wear this for a night out on the town. I would also rock this look at work! It was a lot of fun to do, so I hope you all like it :)

Simple Brown Smokey Eye!

I'M BACK! + Holiday Collection Looks 1 & 2

WOW!!!
It has been FOR-EVER since i've blogger or posted/filmed a tutorial! It feels GOOD to be BACK! :)
Like I rambled on about in my Holiday Look #1 video, I got a second job (at Suzy Shier!) & was working A LOT. When I wasn't working I was trying to keep up with house work, family things, & trying to keep my sanity (which almost didn't happen, haha). On top of being BUSY we've had a few situations with our cats & have been back & forth to the Animal Hospital what feels like a million times (talk about stressful!)

That being said, I would like to introduce you to my Holiday Collection 2011 :) So far I only have two videos, but I plan on having a few more over the course of the next couple of weeks. I hope you guys all enjoy. I certainly enjoyed doing these looks for you :)

I'm always so busy now that i'm back to work, I barely get the time to do tutorials anymore (or even blog for that matter) :( This makes me very sad. I'm hoping to step it up a little & start being a little more consistent with my blogging/tutorials... I guess only time will tell! Lemon-Lime (Re-Do) -- wearable look.

I did a tutorial on a look that I had already featured on here. The look was called Lemon-Lime, but this time I did a more subtle/wearable version of the look. Since the colours are pretty for summer I figured it would be a good addition to my Summer Collection :)

I started uploading this tutorial closer to midnight last night, which means the video was uploaded probably around 3am or something like that (it takes forEVER to upload!) I've noticed that every time I upload a video (if I don't take the rating setting off) somebody "dislikes" my video within a few hours of it being uploaded. This is fine; some people are going to like what I do, some people aren't. However, I never get any feedback as to why they dislike the video(s). So, if you're reading this & you're the one disliking every video, please tell me why. I can take constructive criticism & having an opinion or suggestions will only help me help make my videos better :)

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. I'm still working on staying in the shot while i'm filming zoomed in. I'm getting better (sort of, haha). The angle i'm at, the camera is pointing down at me & I have to look down slightly to see into my mirror. Hence being out of the shot sometimes. Hopefully i'll get use to it :P

Day-To-Day Look: Lilac & Plum

I did a very wearable, day-to-day look using lilac & plum the other day. I ended up wearing this look to work yesterday! It's super simple to create.

One of the things I love about purple's is that it flatters ANY eye colour!

So it has come to my attention that I have MAJORLY been slacking on the blog posting.
Trying to get into a new routine now that i'm back to work has been tough. I am SO tired, haha. It seems like there aren't enough hours in a day anymore. While I am enjoying being back at work (adult conversation & a pay check!) I miss Korah & Leighton lots, lots lots.

On the makeup front, I am hoping to do a new tutorial as early as this evening. I just never have the time to do them anymore. :( I promise I will do one SOON. I did a pretty/simple look today that I may do a tutorial for later on (using white, brown, & grey). I'm thinking another Summer Collection look is in order though :)

So, what have I been up to lately, one might ask? Well - working! Haha. Asides from working i've been spending as much time as possible with my little girls. We brought them to the midway last night (by WE I mean my two best friends & I) & the kids had a ball! Korah loved the rides; I think she'll be a ride buff like her Mommy when she grows up! One of my best friends got ENGAGED!!! I'm so happy & excited for her! Everything wedding makes me happy, especially when it's one of my best friends! And I'M GOING TO BE A BRIDESMAID! Haha, she's going to get so sick of hearing that. Another best friend of mine had a baby [girl] a couple of weeks ago! I get to meet her next weekend & I am SO excited!

Leighton's first Birthday has come & gone. A week after she turned 1 she started walking! Now she's [running] everywhere! She definitely keeps us busy. Korah amazes me each & every day with the things she does/says. We have two little smart cookies on our hands!

Speaking of next weekend (when we get to meet Railyn for the first time <3) we are heading to Vaughan for a wedding. It's my husband's cousin's wedding & we're both really excited to see family & enjoy a weekend to ourselves. My husband helped me pick out an awesome dress to wear to the wedding (photos to follow the wedding) so I look forward to getting all dolled up & dancing the night away :D We plan to go to Wonderland on Sunday (depending on how we feel after the previous nights festivities, haha). I haven't been to Wonderland in 4 years! I am so excited :D

So there's a little life update, what i've been up to lately. I will try my hardest to get a tutorial done tonight & to keep ontop of the blogging! :P

Mermaid Inspired Look featuring GOSH!

Hello lovies!

I finally got around to doing a tutorial last night. The kids were at Grandpapa's, which gave Mommy a little "me" time. I decided to work with a trio that I bought a couple of years ago - I never really used it because I didn't know how (hehe). The colours really reminded me of a mermaid for some reason, so that's why I call this my Mermaid inspired look :) I decided to try talking throughout my entire video instead of using music. You guys will have to let me know what you think!

It's too bad it doesn't show up as well in photos as it does in person :( The lime green looks yellow & you can barely even see the turqouise. I did this look for work today & it definitely looks better in person :)
