Hiya!

My OOTD Saturday was relaxed & comfortable. I had all of two hours of sleep Friday night (thanks to my two year old, Leighton) & was absolutely exhausted (hense the not so nice hair & glasses, haha).

Sunday I went a little vintage :) It was a cute outfit, I got compliments on it. A customer even told me I look kind of like Katherine Heigl. I don't see it ... at all(!), but I took it as a compliment :P

Tutorial: Mint Green Cut Crease!

FINALLY, I got around to doing a tutorial (yaaaaaay!) I did a dramatic look using mint green & a cut crease. I really enjoy the way this look turned out, I hope you all do too!

I know i've been horrible with blogging & tutorials lately. And by horrible I mean I haven't been doing them, period. I never feel like I have time :( Work has been exhausting me, & when all is finally said & done at the end of the evening, I just want to climb into bed & sleeeeeep. I'm hoping that things change soon & i'm able to jump back on the bandwagon again. I  miss blogging & doing tutorials :(

OOTD: Vacation!

Hello everyone!
We drove to Kenora on Wednesday for my Best Friends wedding (which was Saturday) & had an amazing time! Curtis & I got to spend a lot of time together, I had an amazing time with Lyndsey (the bride) & the other bridesmaids! The visit wasn't long enough :( We came home to a whole lot of forest fires surrounding the area, one being in the Heart of our town. My Dad, brother, & Uncle were out there into the wee hours of the morning, helping fight the beast. I am so proud of them & so thankful for all of the men & women who were out there, risking their lives to keep ours safe.

The wedding was SO much fun. The bride looked absolutely amazing! Congratulations, Lyndsey & Christian!

While we were gone, I took a couple pictures of my OOTD(s). It's been a little while, & I had fun with my "vacation" wardrobe. So, here they are!

OOTD + New "Leather" Jacket!

Ok, so i'm REALLY excited about a jacket I bought from work the other day. I don't know why i'm so excited about this jacket ... I was never really into the whole leather jacket look. I thought for the longest time that they looked ridiculous on me. Until I tried this one on & I fell in love with it! It was chilly yesterday morning, & I was taking the bus (I didn't want to wear my new maxi dress on the bus) so I threw on some jeans & sported my new jacket on my way to work. Loved it!

I then changed into my outfit for the day; a maxi dress that I bought (also) from my store. I'm definitely digging the maxi dresses this year!!!

Not the greatest photo, but whatever =-P I had to put my glasses on because I couldn't see out of my contacts. It was super weird.

I spent all afternoon outside, two hours of which showing Korah how to ride her bike. She's got it down pat & i'm SO proud of her =-) She kept saying "this is awesome!" Haha, it was adorable. Hopefully I got a little (more) colour being outside today, with my best friends wedding coming up NEXT WEEKEND (jumps around in excitement) I want to look not so pale =-P

What a beautiful day it turned out to be (considering it was suppose to rain!) We're bbq'in steak & celebrating my Father-in-law's Birthday =-)

OOTD (05-02-2012)

I really need to get better with posting my outfit(s) of the day. I'm thinking I might do a post once a week (maybe on Saturday) of the outfits I wore throughout the week. That way I don't have to worry about posting daily (finding the time is sometimes hard!) Just a thought though :)

The Great Hair Debate!

I'm at it again; torn between leaving my hair ALONE or cutting AND dying it. I go through this over & over & over. Red - blonde - brunette - blonde - red. My natural hair colour is a dark auburn, so that is the colour my hair has been for quite some time. Back in November I decided to add some blonde highlights & the hairdresser completely FRIED my hair. I was devistated. It's finally back to looking & feeling healthy (although i'm sure there is still breakage as I refused to chop my hair ALL off). I love my hair this auburn colour, but with summer coming it would be nice to go light. REALLY light.

This is the cut & colour I dream of :-P

OOTD: Friday!

I looked nothing short of EXHAUSTED yesterday. It was horrible. Leighton hasn't been sleeping well for the past three weeks, which means Mommy hasn't been sleeping (barely at all!) in the last three weeks either. *yawns*
I was rockin' the blue pants again yesterday. I am so in LOVE with colour this spring!

Mmmmm, red velvet cake. I have a really bad habit of coming home when I work the late shift & EATING. I'm always so hungry after my shift =( I really need to stop that, haha.

OOTD! Maxi Dress.

Even though we woke up to SNOW on the ground yesterday morning (brrrrr), I bought myself a gorgeous maxi dress from work. I know, I know - it's flippin' cold out (AGAIN), but I realllllly wanted to wear it today, so I did =) It's super comfortable & I felt super cute in it. I think maxi dresses are going to be a wardrobe staple for me this summer. Simple, pretty, & easy to throw on to run errands, head out for a walk with the kids, or go to work!

My girlfriends and I went to a Stag & Doe on Saturday night. It's always fun to get all dolled up & go out dancing! The music wasn't the greatest, but we still had a blast! I borrowed a dress from my best friend Michelle. This is how I wore it ... =)

[Late] St.Patty's Day Tutorial + a few OOTD!

WOOH.
With our new internet (speed) i'm able to upload tutorials A LOT faster than before. This makes me very very happy. I filmed this tutorial before St.Patty's Day. Because our laptop crashed, I was unable to upload it before the day, alas it is very very late. BUT, better late than never :)

WOW!...

...It has been SO long since i've posted, well.. anything!
We didn't have our laptop for almost a month so that put a halt on blog posting/uploading tutorials (not to mention my OOTD).
We finally have our laptop back which means the blog posts, OOTD(s), & tutorials will be coming your way!
It's been a busy few weeks, needless to say. Our house got hit with a nasty cold. I had it for two weeks, got rid of it for a week (in the mean time the two girls & my husband got it) and now I have it. Again. It was a rough & sleepless week, but we seem to slowly but surely be getting over it.
Our Princess turned 4 yesterday (!!!) Happy Birthday Korah! We're having a party for her on Saturday. Spiderman themed. Haha, it's so weird seeing as she's SUCH a girly-girl. She loves her spidey though!

Holeh, it's been a while since i've posted.
It seems as though lately we've been really busy, thus I haven't had the time to post regularly. I have filmed a few videos in the past couple of weeks but my editing program is on the frits so I have no way to edit & upload my videos :( I'm hoping to get this fixed SOON (when I have the time).
